What Is Taught AI

Taught AI Is Me. Ben.

I’m a Deputy Head of School, Maths Teacher, and Head of PSHE working in an inner city pupil referral unit. Like many teachers, I was curious about AI but initially underwhelmed by generic outputs.

 

That changed once I learned how to use AI properly through carefully designed, high-impact prompts.

 

I saw AI create fully Ofsted-aligned, pedagogically sound lessons, transform parent communication, and dramatically reduce staff workload all while remaining inclusive, trauma-informed, and policy aligned.

 

That’s why I built Taught AI: practical, safe AI designed for real schools.

Why Taught AI

After mastering what I call Outstanding Prompts, I witnessed AI generate complete 45-minute lessons from just a few words including key terms, assessments, worksheets, homework, and lessons aligned to Ofsted and Gatsby benchmarks.

Beyond planning, AI reshaped how my school communicates. Parent emails became consistent, SEND-aware, trauma-informed, and fully aligned with school policies saving time while protecting staff and pupils.

With extensive experience delivering CPD in schools, I now help leaders and teachers confidently use AI in ways that are ethical, compliant, and genuinely useful. Through training, policy alignment, and hands-on implementation, Taught AI turns powerful technology into something schools can trust and use every day.
